Provision for children with medical needs.

From time to time individual children within both our schools have particular medical needs which require special provisions to be made. These may be physical needs, emotional needs or special educational needs resulting from a diagnosed medical condition. Sometimes these needs are very obvious, such as broken limb, but others are completely unseen. The Trust has a duty of care, as do all schools, to make provision for these needs if at all possible and to preserve the confidentiality of any families involved. However, other children may interpret these provisions incorrectly and assume special treatment is being given for no good reason. Please assure your child that this is never the case. For further information please refer to the Policy for Supporting Children with Medical Needs and the SEND Local Offer also on this website.
