Introduction to Children's University

Our school is a part of the Children’s University, a national framework of accrediting and recognising learning that happens out of school hours.

In Slough 3 schools have signed up for this scheme and will come together under the banner of Slough Children’s University.
Children aged 7-14 are eligible to join the Children’s University scheme.
The Slough Children’s University awards credits to young people who
attend learning activities out of school hours. The organisation is designed
to ‘create a platform upon which young people could recognise and explore their
potential as learners’. Children’s University operates outside school hours therefore
young people attend activities entirely from choice.

Club accumulated credits/hours will eventually get pupils a Children’s University Award as detailed below.
Bronze 30 hrs
Silver 65 hrs
Gold 100 hrs
