The aim of PGL is to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils, to raise aspirations, build their confidence and support their achievement. Each day brings a new adventure and the chance to try something new with the encouragement of their friends bringing them back more inspired and eager to learn – even walking a little taller!
Our year 5,6 pupils visited the PGL Centre at Paris this year. The children took part in PGL activities (rock climbing, abseiling, archery and other activities), visited the Eiffel Tower and spent a whole day at Disneyland Paris.
Update for PGL 17.05.2019:
We have arrived safely at PGL Château de Grande Romaine. The children have finished dinner and are about to start their evening activity. Tomorrow the children will be participating in PGL activities in the morning followed by a trip to the Eiffel Tower and swimming in the afternoon.
Update PGL 18.05.19
Today was a very busy day for all. The morning was filled with four PGL activities. All children participated in abseiling, a trapeze leap of faith, sensory trail and team building games. After lunch (which they all made themselves!) we started our journey to the Eiffel Tower. The children enjoyed getting some amazing pictures and eating crepes, ice creams and waffles whilst enjoying the view. We are now back at the accommodation preparing for dinner, swimming and the disco!

Update PGL 19.05.19
Today was Disneyland day! The children spent the entire day on rides, watching parades and shopping. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but it definitely didn’t ruin our day. The children have bought some amazing presents for their families and are very excited to give them out tomorrow.
We are due back at Marish at 7:30pm tomorrow. Parents will be updated via text/email if there are any changes. See you all tomorrow!
