School Uniforms

 
We encourage children to take pride in their appearance and to take of their clothes. School uniform helps establish a sense of belonging and identity and can develop a sense of pride and loyalty.
Our Marish school uniform is:
  • Red Sweatshirt or cardigan
  • Navy blue trousers, shorts or skirt
  • white shirt or polo shirt
  • Black sensible shoes (no boots, high heels or platforms)
  • (Nursery – the above with grey or black jogging bottoms)
  • PE Kit – plain round neck T-Shirt, black shorts.
  • A plain black tracksuit to wear over the PE Kit for outdoor lessons in cold weather. Trainers/plimsolls will work for outside lessons
All items of clothing must be clearly labelled with the child’s name.
The only jewelry allowed is one small stud in each ear, a watch and that which is a specific religious requirement. These must all be removed for PE. The child must take full responsibility for looking after these items. the school will accept no responsibility for their loss or damage.
PE and Games – PE is not an optional subject, it is a part of the national curriculum. Your child’s PE Kit should be bought into school every Monday and taken home every Friday for washing.
Swimming in KS2 – Swimming is not an optional subject. Please check with Langley Leisure Centre regarding the appropriate swimwear to match your requirements.
